Renato Maningas arrested for scam
New York Post : Renato Maningas was arrested on Monday by operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for various multi-million estafa cases in the country. FBI supervising agent Warren George identified the suspect as Renato Maningas.
Maningas was arrested in California based on the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Benjamin Hanes of the trial court.
FBI said Maningas has pending illegal activities and estafa cases from New York , California and other cities. The case stemmed from the suspect's issuance of bouncing checks to his business supplier for payment of the purchased goods of his company. FBI said Maningas was able to trick businessmen from new York , California and other cities.
A warrant of arrest from the cities of Georgia is yet to be issued. Maningas was able to post U.S $ 60,000 bail for his temporary release. The FBI officials are now calling on persons whom Maningas have transacted business.
