Tracy and His employees at the Gadsden Rent a Center store are ignorant and horrible to there Customers they torment you by calling you asking for a payment thats only a week late and its second hand equipment. THE MERCHANDICE THEY GIVE YOU IS NOT EVEN WORTH ITS VALUE THEY CHARGED US 165 DOLLARS EVERY TWO WEEKS FOR RENTING A REFRIDGERATOR AND A STOVE. Your Agreement

AUTHOR: jnm88 - (USA)

The legally binding contract that you signed states that you agree to make payments on or before your due date ("pre-paid" is the best way to describe this), and if you fail to uphold your end if the agreement, you give Rent-A-Center the right to attempt contact with you (this is typically done twice a day until contact is made), and if you fail to allow contact, then attempts week be made to contact your references so that they can get the message to you. Your contract also states that if you void it in any way (this includes being as little as one day late) that the store has the legal right to refuse your payment and take the merchandise back. As far as the quality of the items, yes, if you opted for previously rented it will be used... but all you have to do is ask for brand new. The term will be higher, but you'll have new. The weekly price is also set by the company, not the individual store... and keep in mind, that dollar amount goes to cost, lease services, warranty, protection, and taxes (not simply an item).

Guess Who?

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

If YOU don't like the collection calls which YOU turned on, then its a very easy yet simple remedy...pay your bills on time.  If YOU don't like the price, then YOU should have decided about that aspect BEFORE you agreed to the deal.  However, what we very easily see here is YOU turned on the collections efforts by continuing to be a deadbeat.  All of your attemptrs to defame them are nothing but a smokescreen.

Let me save you the effort, don't bother writing it, I don't work for them.

Your fault

AUTHOR: Stacey - (USA)

You missed a payment therefore you are obligated for that payment.  These businesses are the worst but that is the path you chose so you therefore are subject to the consequences.  And it is THEIR not there.
