Rent.com says that If you tell your apartment complex that you saw them on Rent.com that once you sign your lease you get $100.
I printed out the paper, took it with me to sign my lease at PEACOCK RUN in Port Saint Lucie, FL. And the girl who did our lease said "oh yeah, well you hold onto that" when I handed her rent.com's paper they tell you to print out.
So I went back to Rent.com to claim my $100. They emailed me back saying that Peacock Run put "word of mouth" as my reference.
Rent.com isn't at fault, But Peacock Run is. I gave them the slip and they didn't put it in my lease. Their fault 100%. They probley didn't want to pay Rent.com their cut. Pretty selfish.
