I believe that the real estate industry should be aware that Reply.com (AKA AgentConnect.com, RealtyNow.com and several other sleazy scam operations) hires sales staff of varying skill levels, and promises them the moon.

It is only after several months that their salespeople learn that they will be paid only a fraction of the commissions they believe they have earned, (commissions are paid months after the sale is completed), and that virtually none of the leads delivered to their clients have resulted in any activity whatsoever. The sales staff is forced to insist that one in ten leads converts into a transaction. The truth is that less than one in a hundred leads is legitimate, and that is being generous. I think it's more like one in a thousand.

These people are con-artists on so many levels that it's incredible they haven't been grabbed by the FBI. Avoid them at all costs, because they will take your money, and leave you with nothing to show for it.

I stand by my comments 100%

AUTHOR: Danielle - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, February 26, 2006

I stand by everything I stated in my original report 100%.

Also, the person who responded in the rebuttal clearly did not understand what I said, as I made it clear I had been an employee. They also did not even know my gender, so their claim of having worked with me is completely absurd.

Rather, I think the rebuttal was left by the owner of the company, who has the charm and integrity of a used car salesman.

This company and its employees cannot and should not be trusted. They promise agents great leads, and produce nothing of value. And they charge thousands of dollars for this misleading service.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Incorrect representation of Agent Connect

AUTHOR: Phillip - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 20, 2006

The reported "complaint" against AgentConnect is completely false. This was created by an ex-employee who was terminated over bad business practices of his own and not following the specific direction of his manager to cease falsifying information to agents. I ask you to think about 3 things when you read this "complaint":

1. How would an unhappy agent know about the companies instructions to its employees?

2. Why would an unhappy agent care about how the commissions are paid to the staff?

3. If this were truthfully from an "insider", why would the comments of an ex-employee who was not successful and not happy warrant attention?

In the end, this ex-employee was not following the companies code of ethics and he was terminated. He was unhappy himself and decided to tear down the company through false "complaints". If you wish to speak to this person, you can find him at www.rightdowntown.com doing his own form of business now.

I worked alongside this person and have since moved onto doing my own loan business. I enjoyed and learned a lot from my time at AgentConnect/Reply and was never impressed with this person's professionalism. Things never change.
