Marco At Reportage R.G.A. Armani Scammed, False leather jackets Lohja Rome Italy

I fell for this scam yesterday as well. I was driving up to park so that I could buy a new micrawave oven cause the earlier one went off. This car drives up on the wrong way and asks me if I spoke Italian. I actually did since I had lived in Italy for a few years. Next thing you know, he gives me the story about flying out to Italy tonight and he had some jackets he wanted to 'give me' as a gift. He said the had had a fashion show in Hang, on the coast, and he had to get rid of the fashionware he was showing there. He said to just help him out with anything so that he could pay for his car rental, which was 300 euro as he showed.

I should have known something was up. But I just kept thinking, he's a nice guy, and he also showed me his passport quickly. The chap was so well dressed and wore one of the best perfumes as far as I know, and he behaved so well and had a real Roman accent.

So to make a long story short, I gave him EURO 300.00. He in turn, gave me 2 lamb leather jackets and 1 suede one, or Alcantara as he said it was. He also showed a fashion sit, which he would also give me, but somehow it did not appear in the jutebag among the jackets.
The guy even wrote down his e-mail address in Italy and said that we could meet in Piazza di Spagna, Rome for a drink next time I was there.
I never fall for this type of stuff, this is my first time. But I did think this was a true story. The guy even tried to give me a hug. But italians are that way you know? Anyways, it's ok, Im pretty well off, so money is not an issue for me. But I'd hate to see others get ripped off who work so hard for their money.
