Reputationarmor.com Rip Off $3500 Internet Reputation armor

Please allow me to preface this with the fact that I am but one small consumer who owns a small business. Internet Reputation armor is a much larger and is a super fast growth company that will undoubtedly respond to this with much gusto and legalese. I have asked them for my money back for the work they did not even attempt to perform. I can't compete with their lawyers or there stable of employees whose job it is to go out onto the Internet all day and post "independent" and "candid" remarks about how great Reputationarmor.com is so, I won't even try to compete with that. All I can do is tell YOU what they have done to ME and allow you to draw your own conclusions. They sent me an email telling me that I had a Ripoff Report which I did. They said they could remove it from the front pages of google (which they did not) for this I paid them $3500 dollars. They said they had a Guarantee. They did not honor it. And now I feel action must be taken.

Dear Business Owner,

I would encourage you wholeheartedly, to never pay any one for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). There is no Company anywhere on the planet that can cause a web site to remove a post. This is entirely up to the web site operator and its policies. Ed (The owner of this web site) and myself have been feuding since 2004 over this very point. My clients know they are fake, and the public at large is getter smarter by the day. Ed may not let this post fly, but if this slips through the cracks, don't pay him either.  There is no point or advantage to removing or altering it. The best way to deal with complaint web sites, is to simply address the complaint and the client. If the post is done by a competitor or disgruntled employee, just address that fact online. If the post is a fake, the post wont fool anyone, and will not have any damaging effects.

If you really want to gain control over your image, then setup Yahoo and Google local accounts. I have tracked thousands of sales to Google and Yahoo and -0- loss of sales to this web site. Encourage your clients to write you up and let nature take its course.

Black hat SEO will get detected by Google, and the fly by night company's like the one that ripped you off, will get put out of business in short order.
