1. Yes, Rescue & Adopt is affiliated with the other organizations listed. A quick websearch will provide proof (too bad I didn't do a search before buying the dog or I would have seen all of the nasty reviews first). I will also provide screenshots as proof that these organizations are affilatied. The email address is RNArescue@yahoo.com, which is the same email address that Rock N Acres was operating under. AdoptaPet still has them listed as

Even has Sherry Ford's trucking company listed (DOUBLE L TRANSPORTATION) The address is PO Box 52, the same as listed on Rescue & Adopt's Facebook page. When I met Sherry, she told me that she was a trucker and had a long conversation about it. 

2. The dog was advertised as healthy and fully vetted. I confirmed this information over the phone and in person. Sherry said that she didn't have the vaccinations with her but that she would mail them to me. She stated that the dog was rescued from a puppy mill. I specifically asked if the vet detected any heart, eye or skin issues when the dog was examined. Sherry said no, that the dog was healthy. 

3. I purchased the dog on Saturday 10/01/2016. The seller required that I bring $300 in cash. I was not provided with any copies of the rescue agreement. There was no signed contract. In fact, the adoption form was sent to me via facebook messanger; they didn't even have word document or an online application!
I brought the dog home and noticed that it was urinating blood. I texted Sherry on Saturday, 10/02/16 (see pictures). Sherry said that it "could be incidental and nothing to worry about." The dog continued to urinate blood so I took it to the vet on Monday, 10/03/16. The vet charged me $111.84 for an exam, urine specimen and medication. The vet notified me of a state 5-6 heart murmur (which is concidered very, very severe. Please see my previous photos of the vet report). That same day, Monday 10/03/16 I sent a copy of the vet bill and a copy of the vet report to Rescue and Adopt via email and text. 

The rescue claims that I had the dog for 7 days before notifying them of any issues. This is a complete fabrication. I got the dog on Saturday and notified them of all problems on Monday. 
Sherry said that she would have to speak with the board members. I called and texted her daily and she did not respond or answer her phone until I threatened to get the authorities involved. 

4. The dog bit my child's lip, drew blood and left teeth marks. As you will see from the attached screenshot, I told them that I had kids. I told them over the phone that the dog had to be friendly. In person she said that the dog was nervous. I get the fact that kids can be intimidating and that the dog might be scared after a car ride. However, this dog was charging at my kids. My daughter was sitting on the floor on the other side of the room and the dog just went off on her. This is not OK. So, yes, I did threaten to take it to animal control. The dog bit my kid in the face and I was livid.

5. Rescue and Adopt has offered to take the dog back but not to refund my money at the time of pick up. They state that refunds are handled by "the board". This is coming from the same organization who still has not given me a copy of the dogs vaccination and vet records. Am I suppose to just hand over the dog and pray that they will mail me a check? I don't think so. I don't trust these people at all.  

I keep texing and sending facebook messages asking where the vaccination records are and I get no response. It has been 10 days now. Where are the vaccination and vet forms?
They keep telling me that they will take the dog back but that they won't have the money at the time of surrender. 
It certainly is convenient that Sherry demanded that I bring cash when I bought the dog but that she won't refund my money at the time that she takes the dog back. 

I spent $300 on the dog $111.84 for the UTI. I'm out $411.84 and there's still no proof that the dog has even been vaccinated. Not to mention that the vet wants us to see a cardiologist for an echocardiogram. 
I'd really just like to return the dog and get my $411.84 back at the time of surrender. 

I want to know Rescue and Adopt's 501(c)(3). They are listed on Facebook as a non-profit charity. If this is true, then Rescue and Adopt should have no problem providing your 501(c)(3) number. 

 Rescue and adopt isnt affiliated with the other prigrams listed in this false report. The names listed arent affiliated with each other nor are the affiliated witb rescue and adopt. Each animal that comes into rescue has a story has an issue good or bad. We give all infornation that we know about the dog to the new adopter. The dog was checked and cleared healthy before adoption. She had the dog 7 days when we were notified by such issues. We offered to take the dog back and issue full refund several times. She has refused our offer. We also offered to cover any vet bills that might have accured. Since she has refused our offer to help. She posted and assumed we are affliated with other programs and people that are listed in this false report. She also threateed to give dog to aninal control to have her put down. In our adoption contracts state that this is not allowed. It also states that our rescue adopts out with any and all known issues. We also state we cant guarantee health and training. English bulldogs arent cheap. With this being said. We thought we adopted a good dog into a loving home that could care for her. Come to find out we were lied to. This lady guess she got way in over her head and now blaming others for her mistake. Its sad this dog is now going to suffer do to an ignorant adopter Like ive said. We will take the dog back and issue refund. But this lady refused. . and now blaming others.
