reservations.com False Impersonation, hidden fees, lies and deceit Nationwide

Reservations.com represented themselves as the Sandman hotel itself. I was booking three nights in Edmonton Canada with a Canadian Hotel - I am also from Canada. When I got the confirmation, they booked me in US Funds. I phoned back immediately and they said it was my fault for not asking for Canadian funds.  I said it was a Canadian Hotel, why would I think it would be in USFunds?  Never once did he say this was NOT the hotel and was in fact an outside booking agency in the US. I gave them several (4 or 5) opportunities to tell me they were in fact NOT the hotel. I did not find this out until after i phoned to talk with the Hotel GM.

I immediately within 2 minutes of receiving the email - cancelled the reservation but they kept a 14.99 booking fee - in US Funds.

Horrible Horrible shameful cheating company - stay clear!!!!!!
