Resolution Services located in Tarzana, CA is a mortgage modification scam operation. I beleive they are linked to Forsta Mediation Services of Mesa, AZ and Mediation Service of Gilbert AZ. They will post fictitious reviews on Trustlink.org - which operates out of Elizabeth's Shutters at 525 South Rancho Ave., Colton, CA. These three companies have a pattern of operation that is nearly identical to the scam that I experienced.
They somehow have an internet link to a mortgage modification website that enables them to identify homeowners who are searching for modification assistance. They will cold call and offer to conduct a "forensic audit" of your financials to see if you qualify for one of the many mortgage modification packages available. They will request a down payment of anywhere from $950 to $2500 for their services, with the promise of a full refund if they are unsuccessful in getting a modification package. They are extremely knowlegable about the mortgage industry - which leads me to speculate that they have backgrounds working in the big mortgage companies such as CitiMortgage, it also makes them more believable when they are selling you their services.
They will direct you to Trustlink to see the favorable reviews that have been posted by satisfied customers, which is also a hoax. They use aliases, Lilah Skye is a name that was used at both Resolution Services and Forsta Mediation Services. Phillip changes his last name.. Newman, Woods; and Jason switches his from Capriotti to Cavalleri. A disgruntled employee who worked at Forsta Mediation Services claims that they are making between $3,000 and $8,000 per week stealing from desperate homeowners.
Resolution Services, LLC has disconnected their phone lines, email addresses and website sometime during the month of August. I have no doubt that they will resurface under a new name with new aliases in the very near future. If they do, they will probably recycle some of the first names: Phillip, Jason, Jeff, Susan, Anna, Lilah, Mercedes, Kim, William and use new last names. Be on the lookout for an Italian last name for Jason - he has a pattern going here.

I just saw an ad in Craigslist for a dispute and resolution specialist and they used many words as "mediator" and "liaison" to work with the client and business and that the hired person would be the mediator and make the decision basically. I submitted my resume but all of my work has been to fight scammers. I never got a call back. I wonder if its the same company. They stated that they were a reputable Phoenix firm but did not have the name or contacts of the company.
