Resort Holding International, Michael Eugene Kelley, and his consortion of related companies have proven to be just a means for stealing money from investors using the title of Universal Leases.

Retirees seem to be the main targets for they are looking for investments to sustain their lives with the income promised. They are led to believe they are actually buying condominiums in Mexico which are being leased for their behalf providing them income. This is just a lie.

At the beginning, payments are regularly received providing a secure feeling that all is well. This is just a means for the investor to spread the word that it is good and will tell friends or invest additional money. And then the payments stop and the retiree is confused for they can't get any good information. They find that it is a ponzi scheme where money from new investors is allocated and used to pay the first investors.

A clause in the contract is specific which indicates you may recover your investment upon request. This is just hogwash. There was and is no intent for this to happen.

I have talked to attorneys who are very familiar with this company and they say that it is fruitless to sue for your money for it does no good. I have to talked to representatives in the Texas Attorney General's office and they shrug their shoulders and say they cannot help. The state of Arizona filed suit and recovered a substantial amount for the investors but not Texas.

My sister who is 86 years of age invested $170,000 in this company which was everything that she had. There seems to be no hope for recovering any of the funds unless someone has found a solution and can provide some advice. Any help would be appreciated.
