Resort Shell Auto Service Dave Page Never get your car fixed here, they cause more problems than they fix Virginia Beach, Virginia

When I left the Gas station near the Virginia Beach oceanfront, my Jeep was STILL making the same noise that I had it towed in for them to repair. When I asked if they had even test driven it, they said 'yes'. How could you miss that loud metal chomping sound from my front axle??? They tried again to fix it, saying it was a faulty part ( Even though they were adamant about using costlier new parts!), and a day later, the same noise occurred again!

The third time they kept it for a couple days, vouching they would get to the bottom of this. When I picked it up, they said that they had , again, a faulty part, but that  they used some heavy duty grease in the works to ensure it "would be good for another 100,000 miles".

During this time, I was only driving to work on rainy days, as I had lived only one third of a mile way and enjoyed the walk. But the first long trip that I took with the Jeep was to Florida (To get special surgery done by an exclusive Dr. that I had been saving up all year for the expense). On crossing over the Florida line, my Jeep started making really loud noises, eating metal, jerking to and fro. I had a NAPA Mechanic repair it for over $800. dollars.

The cause of the damage to my front end seals was from the Resort Shells' inept installation of my axle, the NAPA mechanic said. The NAPA Mechanic wrote down that the reason was because after the third install of my front axle at the Dave Page Owned Resort Shell on Laskin Rd. the 'mechanic' in VA Beach had cut the seals by his ineptness during the install.

I told the Shell Station Owner Dave Page about this and he finally said, "I'll give you $400."  As if i could somehow be bought off. I said 'No', because it was $800. AND I had missed my Surgery, time-off from work, hotel incurred during the 2 day repair job,and  etc. expenses. So I took him to court, because I wanted to meet his friend the JUDGE. Dave Page said in court that "there are thousands of these put in every year in Virginia Beach, and no one has ever had problems with them". Purgery.

Because I didn't have the mechanic from Florida, physically standing besides me in the courtroom, the judge dismissed the case !!!! Even though I had a signed statement from the NAPA Mechanic!!!As I was turning to leave the courtroom in disgust, I saw  the Judge  wink his eye at Dave Page as he left!!! ((It's not what you know, It's Who you know!!))

Later on,  after a friend convinced me to just settle out of court with Dave Page,I went back to the Resort Shell on 409 Laskin Rd. in VA Beach and wanted to see if we could resolve this without the crooked 'Justice System' of Virginia beach and enduring more court costs, and another whole day in the court room ( We were there 8 hours and the last case seen.). Dave Page said "Sure. Let me get my finances together and call me next week." I did; and over 2 dozen messages later he still hasn't reponded to call me back, and is having his employees block me from directly talking with him. He was simply waiting past the deadline for me to  Appeal the Judgement.

And so, now I've been HAD. Well Dave Page, you reap what you sew, scumbag. Here's my report to the world how crappy, unwarranteed work is 'business as usual' for you, you Rip-Off money gougers. Not only do you inflate gas prices at every holiday in the year that people travel during, but you also do piss-poor repairs. Let's hope this report keeps at least one other victim from falling prey fto your lying a*s ways. If it's one /week, all the better.
