Tonight I received the GRAND DADDY of all rip off phone calls from Mark Andrews ofg Resort Solutions Trust located somewhere in Florida, and the web addy is rst.com. Allegedly, Mr. Andrews had a buyer for my timeshare. I paid $4,000 for my timeshare, but Mr. Andrews insisted that he had a buyer who wanted to purchase my timeshare, in THIS economic climate for $12,000.00. WHOA! That's a lot of money to have been realized in only 2 short years of owning the timeshare. So I called him back and asked him a few questions.
(1) How did you get my information? He said he got my information from my timeshare company! WRONG...I signed a prvacy notification NO WAY they gave that information out. And, if they did, I didn't have THIS private telephone number when I purchased. LIAR
(2) Why do I need to give you MY credit card number so that you can charge $1,175 for "closing fees" when, as a real estate paralegal, I know that closing costs come out of the net proceeds of the closing AT THE TIME OF CLOSING? He said that this was a processing fee and if I wanted to sell it to someone he would broker the deal and wouldn't get his "commission" until after closing, but I could expect my money within 4 - 6 weeks. WRONG!!! I advised Mr. Andrews that I had already done an internet search of his company, 137 REPORTS? I was born at night, not last night!
When I advised Mr. Andrews that I would NOT be giving him my credit card number and that I had already investigated his company and found this to be a COMPLETE FRAUD...he hung up on me!
People, BEWARE of these scams! They want your credit card number to be scheisty! It doesn't take 6 weeks to get closing proceeds, and money doesn't change hands unless you have to prepay for a title search, and prepayment is extremely RARE...ALL costs of closings are taken out of the closing at the time of funding AND NOT A MINUTE BEFORE!
SHAME ON YOU MARK ANDREWS...I HOPE NO ONE SCAMS YOUR MOTHER!

SHAME ON YOU !!! for for not being truthful, we do record calls for quality assurance, I pulled the tape for this day and listened to it.
1) As a real estate paralegal part of your job description is to Investigates facts, Shirley ofDanbury, Connecticut is a LIAR !! and I would never do busiess with a liar or the company she claims to work for.
2) You are correct in one thing in your entire post, the fact the closing fee is done at closing. Nowhere in the conversation did Mr. Andrews state that you would be responsible for paying closing cost.
3) 137 reports ?? please share them with the viewers of this post, the only thing negative about this company listed anywhere on the internet, is by a LIAR named Shirley of Danbury, Connecticut, sorry to have called you when you were having a bad day.
