I was 14 days late on my maintenance fee and they charged me $65. I tried to reason with them and told them that there is normally a 30 day grace period. She said that it was only 9 days. I told her that was a ridiculous and she "Well you signed the contract" I asked her if there was any chance to lower late fees and she put me on hold and came back and said "No - you signed a contract".
Everytime I asked a question she would either say "You signed the contract" or "I will have to ask my supervisor" Then she would come back on the phone and say that her supervisor said we signed the contract, so pay the $65 late charge.
So by the end of the year I would have almost $1000 in late fees. 10% every month of the balance.
Maintenance fees go up every year. They started at $350 and now are almost $700 a year.
Late charges of $65 for being 14 days late is unreal and a told rip off.
