I received a gift certicate from a friend that was purchased from RESTAURANT.COM. The certicate was to La Hacienda in Emporia Kansas. The owner said he would not honor the ticket. He said in the past RESTAURANT.COM would not reimburse him the money for the certicate. The owner told me the certicate was a scam and that RESTAURANT.COM keeps all the money.
