To the Public,
Like you, I was ripped-off by Certegy Payment Recovery Services which helped themself by drafting a phony "pre authorized" check against my account made payable to them. Certegy received my personal information from Restoration Hardware to whom I written a check for some items. The check cleared. However, 8 days later, Certegy presented a $30 check to which my investment paid.
I had never heard of this company before. The internet is full of rip-off reports, complaints and lawsuits in multiple states filed against this company. RESTORATION HARDWARE IS DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE SCUM. BOYCOTT RESTORATION HARDWARE AND ANY OTHER BUSINESS WHO DOES BUSINESS WITH CERTEGY.
This cost Restoration Hardware plenty. I had an order pending with them for several hundred dollars which I now cancelled!! Restoration Hardware would rather see Certegy pocket $30 of my money than receive the sale and future business from me, which they have lost.
BOYCOTT BUSINESSES WHO DO BUSINESS WITH CERTEGY!
