I have an 04 Nissan 350z 95,000 miles, before using restore I had no mechanical issues everything worked fine. Almost immediately after adding restore to my engine, I had numerous issues!!! Engine idle was rough, coming to a stop my engine shut off, poor acceleration, and 7 error codes!, DO NOT USE RESTORE ENGINE TREATMENT. 2WEEKS  prior I changed my oil to high mileage valvoline with a Bosch filter.  I immediately flushed and changed my oil to Pennzoil ultra synthetic and bosch filter and added hyprrlube. Thankfully all of my issues were resolved and no longer have issues. Restore caused all of the issues and is a terrible product!

Restore with variable valve timing

AUTHOR: Josh - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, July 29, 2016

Your 2004 350Z has constant variable valve timing.  To accomplish this, these are small solenoids that actuate.  You can not use engine restore in engines with any type of Variable timing.  It gets into the solenoids and clogs. Hope this helps...
