I paid $47.00 to have www.resumemessenger.com distribute my resume to recruiters in the state of Michigan. They CLAIMED to be distributing my resume to over 1400 recruiters. I have received absolutely no responses to my resume, other than other company's who CHARGE to basically do the same thing that resume messenger claims to do. This is obviously a scam. When I asked to see a list of the 1400+ recruiters they were sending my resume to, they claimed that they can not do that.
I have attempted to contact the company to resolve this issue and they have not gotten back to me even once.
This company is associated with www.worktree.com who is also a shady company to give your money to. Both company's operate the same. they make a lot of big claims, and don't follow up on what they say once they have your money.
DO NOT give them your money! It's a complete waste! For someone who is looking for a job and can't afford much. this $47 hit really hurt me. What a crock!
Stay away from www.worktree.com, and www.resumemessenger.com!

If it didn't work once, why would it work this time?? I have absolutely no interest in ever using your company again, and I have told many people of my experience with your company as well. This company makes their money by claiming that they actually offer a valuable service.. when in reality, they do nothing. It's a "win win" for them.... not many people will even contact them to complain since the cost is low.... so that's how they make their money.
You want to satisfy me? Refund my money, and I will never again speak negatively about your company. In fact, I may even tell people that I myself was not happy, but that you are actually a reputable company who CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, and went out of your way to make sure I was happy.
I doubt you care... but that is my advice to you. Do the right thing, refund me, and all will be forgiven! I will even post on this site that you took care of the issue....
If nothing happens (as I assume nothing will happen), I still maintain my claim of...

A prospective job seeker saw this post from a previous customer and alerted me to this and I felt it was my duty as a 5 year veteran of the company in question to respond.
This customer (Nathan) is dead wrong. I have worked at the subsidiary of WorkTree.com known as ResumeMessenger.com and they create a professional web resume and also email it out overnight to thousands of recruiters based on the job categories and locations selected. Its a very effective resume distribution system.
He states that he did not get a response but we don't guarantee recruiter response as it all depends on the job orders they have when the resume comes to them. The goal is mass exposure to thousands of recrutiers for just pennies. As part of our policy, if the job seeker does not get a good response within 30 days we will re-blast it at no charge and allow them to make more updates to their web resume as well at no charge.
Nathan says that we didn't tell him he 1,400 recruiters that we sent his resume to and he is correct, we do not reveail our recruiters in any type of list format as its our competitive asset that helps drive the ResumeMessenger.com system and this is also mentioned on the FAQs directly on the ResumeMessenger.com site.
He states WorkTree and ResumeMessenger are shady sites which is totally false. We have been online since 1999 with hundreds of thousands of job seekers as members and help them find more jobs much faster using our proprietary tools and services.
I hope Nathan found the job of his dreams, if he hasn't he can contact us and I will be happy to re-send is order out at no charge with free updates.
