On April 24th, I built a resume on Resume-Now (mistake 1).  After spending hours working on it, I learned I had to pay $1.95 to download my resume or print ir.  So I paid for the trial (mistake 2) and immediately regretted it.  When I downloaded my resume (as both a word document and a pdf) the bullets did not line up accurately.  So I removed the bullets, and then the dates where not lined up accurately and random numbers were printed in a column next to my job descriptions.  I ended up having to scrap the work I had done on Resume-Now and rewrite my resume on my own because I was attending a job fair on April 25th.  At that time (late night April 24th) I filled out a customer service form on their website (mistake 3) and complained that the resume created on their site was garbage and described the formatting issues I had.  I  requested they cancel my account AND refund my $1.95 since they provided no services to earn payment.

I was busy on April 25th at my job fair and on April 26th I was moving into my new house.  I've been very busy and did not realize that I never got a response from Resume-Now until I noticed a hold on my credit card.  I immediately contacted customer servcoutn ice and they finally cancelled my account (effective June 5th)  However, my $39.80 payment was to cover multiple months.  I requested they refund my payment because you can see I have not logged into my account since the failed resume writing attempt and email sent out on April 24th.  However, they refused to refund my payment.  I paid for services that were not rendered and will continue to fight for reimbursement or file a claim with my creditor.

Please be warned that services Resume-Now offers is useless and  they are absolutely a scam.

I had to live chat with someone. Supposedly you can call as well, but I didn't go that route because I wanted every interaction with them to be in writing. As a warning, I tried emailing originally to cancel and that email (as well as 2 others) was never responded to.

Not able to end subscription online

AUTHOR: Stacey - (USA)

You are not able to end subscription online by yourself. When you go into settings on your account and click on subscription, there is no option to end subscription. The only option is to upgrade to full access. There is an option to email customer services for any changes to subscription. Where is the delete account option? I want nothing to do with this site.

Except when you ignore emails

AUTHOR: - ()

I emailed inv April 24th requesting a cancellation and your company failed to follow through and then you refuse to refund monies you obtained even after being told your services were useless to me. I eventually had to chat with someone after you charged me when you were told via email to cancel said membership. If necessary, I will dispute this with my credit company because you have made a fraudulent charges after you were advised to cancel.
