I desperately need a job, so I joined Resume Rabbit after hearing of them from the internet. I joined, sent in my $59.95 and thought I would get some possibilities. I am a Quality Assurance professional with over 15 years experience, so I know my background and expected that type of response.
About 3 days later, I started receiving some emails and was very excited. They were all telling me that if I wanted to be a secretary or administrator to an executive, I was in luck! After that, trying to get off all the "home based business" spam lists was a major hassle.
That is all I have ever received from these people, secretary job info. Most of them are fake and when you call and speak to these people they are recruiters from other states and countries trying to make their quota of calls, never intending to ever actually speak to you. I am in California and need a job here.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only thing I received was large quantities of spam messages (sometimes 10 a day) telling me that if I would send in $400.00 (an example) that I could start my home based business today! They say they reviewed my resume after receiving it from Resume Rabbit and that I would be a great fit for their secretary position. If they had actually even looked at my resume, they would know I am not interested in that line of work.
That is all I have ever received from Resume Rabbit, junk. I have never received even one email relating to my actual career, Software Quality Assurance.
At this time, I am a one man advertisement against anyone using Resume Rabbit. I tell everyone I can that it is a ripoff. Had I received even one QA related lead I would have felt somewhat like I had received some help from these people.
I am not angry, I learned my lesson and lost my money. I will never again trust any internet company that claims it can help me find a job. And I will tell everyone I can to do the same, or I can guarantee them they will also loose their money. Sad that people like this are allowed to take advantage of us unfortunate unemployed people just looking for work.
Resume Rabbit has never even remotely come close to helping me get a job. And everyone I speak to about it says the same thing. I wonder where they actually get their ecstatic, satisfied, excited people who testify for their site, because from what I have heard, there can only be 3 or 4 of them.

Resume Rabbit Suspicious immediately
AUTHOR: Alvin - ()
SUBMITTED: Monday, May 05, 2014
I didn't subscribe to this service. I didn't even fill out the information requested. First of all I recieved an email advertising Resume Rabbit disguised as a job offer in the subject line. No mention of this being a paid service, a free service or a trial offer. That lead me to believe that it was a paid service. Curious, I went to the web page. As I expected a lot of positve aspects and testimonials about the service. Still no mention of a payment being required. I was not informed that there was a fee until AFTER I uploaded my resume, and filled out all the personal information. I seen a few red flags from the start. If I see one, I'm done. With that being said. They have been around for some time now. Are people that desperate or does Resume Rabbit deliver?

Resume Rabbit Pretty Much Does What It Says It Will Do

I have recently used Resume Rabbit, and I have had a less negative experience. Resume Rabbit basically posted my resume and information to several different job posts.
It should be noted that Resume Rabbit only forwards emails to you from job agents it has created at these job boards. Aside from creating the agent, it doesn't do anything to decide what you get.
I have had mostly relevant emails come from resume rabbit, although it seems that the configuration of some of the agents were garbled. For example, on agent sends me consulting jobs--I suppose because one of the companies I worked for had the word consulting in it.
I have not had any issues with spam. The spam described in the original report is the sort of spam you might get from any job board that you manually signed up for. It could just be that spam protection has improved since the original report.
Is the service a scam? From my experience I would not classify it as a scam. Is it worth 59.95. That remains to be seen. My resume is now broadcast on all these job boards, and it saved me the time of doing it manually. However, I am skeptical that a broadcast resume is the best way to find a job.

I think that after having read several comments regarding this website, and actually attempting to throughly research this site. I can honestly thank those who flagged but may have been unfortunately duped by the company.

Joe, your comments are neither helpful or constructive. All it amounts to is a anti-white racist tirade based on zero facts and wild speculation.
Resume Rabbit is a scam - they are one of countless sites looking to bilk unemployed people of ALL races, creeds and colors out of their hard earned money that is quickly disappearing without a job.

NO WONDER I DO NOT GET A RESPONSE WHEN I APPLY FOR JOBS ONLINE

It was news to me that recruiters have a quota of applicants to "interview" and that is why they have the EEOC information.
I can see this now.
They print out the number of applications and they separate them into piled.
One for white men who will probably be their preferred candidates.
Women in another pile and other piles for various minority candidates -- African Americans, Mexican Americans, etc. according to the EEOC information that was
filled out on the application form.
OLDER applicants go on the pile too.
If EEOC EVER comes to call, the recruiter can now show GOOD FAITH EFFORTS to recruit people for the JOB BUT
TAKING APPLICATIONS DOES NOT MEAN THOSE APPLICATIONS WILL SERIOUSLY BE CONSIDERED FOR HIRE.
It is just one of those liberal "feel good" things that they do where they TALK a GOOD, POLITICALLY CORRECT LINE but DO the most racist, DISCRIMINATORY things possible and usually to help out their OWN SOCIAL CLASS of YUPPIE, ELITISTS.
In many cases, they have already hired the white YUPPIE male they want and still continue to take applications SO THAT THINGS WILL LOOK GOOD.
It's all about APPEARANCES with these people.
Like the economic prosperity generated by made-up money and fake promises called CREDIT after those financial people STOLE, EMBEZZLED, MISAPPROPRIATED,GAMBLED and WASTED the money people entrusted them to invest safely for the, MOMENT OF TRUTH! THE MONEY WAS ALL GONE AND THESE CROOKS AND THEIR POLITICIAN FRIENDS AND ELITE SCHOOL CHUMS HAD TO STEAL TAX PAYER MONEY TO REP:LACE IT. AND WHAT IS GOING TO KEEP THESE YUPPIE BASTARDS FROM GAMBLING IT ALL AWAY AGAIN? GAMBLING IS AN UPPER-CLASS ADDICTION!
MAYBE WE SHOULD LET PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING MANAGER THE MONEY INSTEAD!
All applications from these lesser- desire applicants (LIKE ME) will be kept for a while and then tossed. THEY WILL NEVER EVEN BE CONSIDERED.
ALL THESE RESUME RABBIT PEOPLE WILL APPARENLY DO IS SPREAD YOUR RESUMES AROUND. THEY WILL DISAPPEAR IN THAT BLACK HOLE WHERE ALL OTHER RESUMES AND APPLICATIONS SEEM TO GO ONLINE... NO ACCOUNTABILITY AND NO WAY TO TRACK THESE APPLICANTS TO INSURE THAT EEOC RULES ARE BEING ENFORCED.
A VERY CLEVER WAY TO CIRCUMVENT EEOC.
RESUME RABBIT CAN NOT HELP YOU GET A JOB OR GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE.
THEY ARE A SERVICE.
THEY JUST DISTRIBUTE YOUR RESUME.
YOU CAN DO THAT FOR YOURSELF FOR FREE.
AND WATCH OUT FOR THE FAKE JOB SITES AND FAKE JOB OFFERS AND ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS STEAL YOUR IDENTITY AND USE YOUR RESUME INFORMATION TO HAVE PEOPLE WITH THOSE SAME QUALIFICATIONS IMPERSONATE YOU.
I WON'T SAY RESUME RABBIT IS A DISHONEST SERVICE.
JUST THAT YOU CAN SEND YOUR OWN RESUMES FOR FREE.
YOU DON'T NEED THE WHEN YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING THEY DO.
