I received an email touting a new serum based facial product for fine lines, etc.
I ordered the sample for a 14 Day trial on the 6th of October - I received on the 9th of October, on the 10th of October I called the number listed on the packing slip and got a FAX ring, did it a second time, same results. So I emailed the customer service addess listed advising them to cancel any future orders, I didn not like the product and would like an RMA# to return same.
I followed up with an additional email on the 14th of October.
On the 20th of October the company charged my bank account $98.41.
I find this transaction on the 24th of October. I again email the customer service with this problem.
On the 29th of October I followup with a call to another phone number which was listed on my bank statement.
I called the first time and spoke with a man, failed to get the name. Who obviously could not help me. He indicated that I had not contacted them to cancel, I rebutted with the dates of the emails sent within the 14 day trial. He indicated that he could not refund nor could I return the product since it was opened. I tell him that the brochure indicated a 30 return policy.
I request a supervisor, he said he could connect me and the next sound I hear is a dial tone.
I call back and get a girl and instead of going through the entire story again I request a supervisor immediately. She had to have the story which I again told to her and then requested a supervisor again. She said she would get one, after a 5 minute hold she came back on the line with the statement that they were all too busy right now and could not help me. I requested a call back at their convenience, and she said that could not be done since it was a call center and could not call out.
I reinterated that I wanted a refund, since I did all that was expected of me and she said she could send me out some more product that I could share with friends or family. Now why would I do that? I did not like the product so why would I give it to a friend?
Their customer service is the usual reading from a script and cannot address issues that are not within that perimeter.
I have now blasted every email address shown for this compay with the problem and guess what, still no response.
