Rheem Water Heater that was poorly constructed, leaked after only four years. Six year original warranty paid only for replacement water heater, not labor. Installer who advertised itself as authorized Rheem dealer charged $1100 in labor for replacement. When complaint made to company, customer service rep looked for every possible excuse not to deal with the real issue, poor quality of the product and lack of control over dealer network. When appeal letter was sent directly to the President of the Company, Craig Breese, he merely referred my letter back to the same insensitive consumer relations employee who was indifferent to the original complaint.
