I was referred to Rhonda by someone, who I know think works for her. I met with Rhonda as I've been battling with weight issues my entire life, and Diabetes runs in my family. I've actually followed proven programs that have worked before, so I'm not nieve. When I met Rhonda, I understood her preaching about eating healthy food, but it sounded like I was sitting in health science class. While her program lacked substance or originality, I took a "leap of faith" and paid for the program upfront. Work mistake I've ever made.

Over half way thru, I had actually gained wait and asked for my money back. She got really upset and just kept saying that it was my fault! She said I wasn't committed and that no program would help me as long as I kept being "close-minded" and "lazy". I paid a lot of money for this scam artist to make me feel bad about myself, while I gained more weight! DON'T FALL FOR HER SCAM!!!! I'm know doing it the right way with a certified personal trainer that also is monitoring my bmi and diet. She motivates me and I feel good about myself again, and have lost 18 lbs in just over a month! Shame on Rhonda and whoever lies for her - she's a SCAM!!!!!

False report

AUTHOR: Rhonda - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 18, 2014

Although my business name and address are listed on this report, it is clear that it was not written about a client's actual interaction with me, as evidenced by:

1.  The complainant states they were referred to me by someone who works for me; I do not have any employees.

2. I do not offer a "program" for which I require payment "up front", therefore, there would be no reason for a client to ask for their "money back" "over half way through the program".  I have my clients pay for individual appointments at the time of each appointment.

3.  The complainant states that they saw me for weight loss.  I do not see clients who have a primary goal of weight loss, as this is not congruent with my non-diet and Health at Every Size training and philosophy.

4.  My style is about as far from "preaching about eating healthy foods" as one can get; any of my clients can attest to this.

5.  It seems ridiculous to commment on this, but I have never called a client "lazy" or "closed minded".  Again, this is not congruent with my style or counseling modality.

To summarize, I believe the report to which I am responding to be a)  most likely a hoax or  b) filed erroneously.  If this complaint were based on fact, the writer would have no need to remain anonymous.  As recommended by Ripoff Report, I invite the complainant to provide and post proof of payment for this "program".
