R.I.B.C. Financial Services Big Check in the mail! I received a check from this company for $ 4610.00 . Seems a little weird, so I started doing some research, which was even weirder. Thank you google! Brandon Manitoba Canada

I received an envelope in the mail. It had a computer label that had been sloppily applied with no return address. It was postmarked from Canada. Inside was a letter stating that I was a winner in the Compensation Lottery Draw A. They had a claim number and my lucky winning numbers. Enclosed was a very legitimate looking check from, Staffmark Investment LLC, 435 Elm Street, Suite 300, Cinncinati, OH. 45202, which from my research looks like a legitimate company. The check was made out for $4610.00. Of which I was instructed to send a money gram of $3630 to a "tax agent". Fishy! I tried to call the number on the letter, but it is an inactive number. Surprise surprise. When I googled R.I.B.C. there was a link to this website about 6 down on the search. I never cashed the check.
