Ricart Dealership Bait & Switch... they sold me a $20,00 car then called me a week later and told me that i had to bring it back, then they stole the cd player out of my trade-in!!! Columbus Ohio

I went to Ricart used car factory and bought a Mazda 6 2006, signed the paper work and singed over my trade-in. seven days later they called me and said that I had to bring the car back to them and get a car of lesser value. Well the other car hey were offering me was not in my options, so I told them to just give my trade-in back to me.

When they pulled my trade-in around and I went to get into I realized that the after market CD player that I left in the car was stolen and my passenger side window was off the track. They destroyed the inside of my car. I had to call the police and fill out a police report. Meanwhile everything was very time consuming.

The police made them replace the cd player that was stolen. but I was standing outside waiting for the confirmation of the audio store that was replacing it, the manager came outside and told me that he had gotten a hold of the manager at Columbus car audio (Todd) and that everything was taken care of and I could go up there and they would replace it. Well I know Todd very well so I called him to ask him what was going on and he said he had even herd from Ricart that day.

so i had to sit and wait even longer b/c the manager lied to me about it being taken care of. they also took my registration to my trade in the day I singed it over... when I went to get the car back they didnt want to give me it back I had to fight with the manager to prove that they had taken it form me.

After I wasted all my time with them, I later found out that when they submitted my co-signers ssn to the bank they submitted the wrong one. Instead of using my grandmother ssn they submitted my moms w/ out her permission and now she has inquiries on her cbr that dont belong there.

They screwed up all the way around and since this has happened I have spoken with many other people that had dealt with the same problem with Ricart Used Cars.

one lady that I discussed this situation with stated that they sold her the car and called her a week later and stated that she wasnt approved and needed to bring it back and when she told them she wanted her trade-in back they told her they already sold the car. she ate and bought the lesser value car that they wanted to give her... it ate at her for about four days and she went in there and dealt with some one that she had never met before and told him that she just wanted to see there used cars she didnt want anything new she just wanted a cheap Junker for her kid, when he took her to the lot no lie her car was sitting there and it was the first one he showed her.

They do this to about 90% of there consumers and this is why I am filling out this report b/c I dont want them to keep getting away with it!! LOOK OUT FOR BAIT & SWITCH!!!
