The above "security company" intitially called my home and set up an appointment saying that they were Brinks Home Security. When the "saleman/ president of this bogus company got there, I noticed noting on the case or his clothing said Brinks. I figured that maybe this guy was contracted out by Brinks. He had a good presentation and we looked over my home and he told me the set up for home security. He then showed me the paperwork to set up my account and it looked legit. He asked for my social security number to check my credit and he called someone and gave them my numbers and he asked for my wifes, and I told him that I didn't know it. He then hung up and said everything looks good. He then said that the company prefers to bill by credit card. He asked for the number and expiration and security code. Once everything was signed. He told me that his "installer" would get in touch with me on Monday. As he was leaving, I stated that I would have to call my bank and let them know that this charge would be coming out of my account. He then got a weird look on his face and said well see ya. I closed the door and looked out the window only to notice that he paked TEN houses down. I immediatly grabbed a pin and paper to write his tag number down just in case: MD 98V-764!!! I then googled his name and it came up attached to this "security company". He gave me his card before he left. I then googled the office number to this company and another man's name came up as the president. I then called Brinks and they said that they never used this company and they will report it. I have also reported them. I immediatly cancelled my check card. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY AND THESE PREDATORS!!!
