Richard A. Brennan, Fredrick Law Group L.L.C /ATSL They Deceived me into paying them over $6800.00 to represent me in a debt settlement, promised to refund my money and will not respond. I can not contact anyone. Frederick Maryland

I've been with Brennan and now Frederick for a couple of years and I have a few things to say.

1. It was a rough ride during the merger. I too was frustrated.

2. I was assigned three paralegals since I've been with the group. All three have settled at least one suit for me.

3. Email has worked fairly well for me, especially with my present paralegal.

4. When you receive a summons it is extremely important to answer the summons to the court where it was filed and to the plaintiff's attorneys. It is very important to state your power of attorney as Frederick Law Group and all of Frederick Law Group's (your paralegals) contact information. You need a to use return receipt and signature confirmation on the letter to the plaintiff's attorneys so they cannot deny receipt of the letter. A copy of the summons and a copy of the answer to the summons needs to go to your paralegal at Frederick Law Group.

5. If you simply send the summons to Frederick, you have not answered the summons. If you do not answer the summons to the plaintiff's attorney they can do bad things like freeze your bank accounts or garnish your wages. Once you have answered the summons and declared Frederick as your PoA you've bought time and made it much harder for any "bad things" to happen to you.

6. Once you have paid your fee for Frederick's services, don't continue to send money. Set up your own account for when they reach a settlement. I used other monies before I was even paid up with them to settle accounts (unfortunately, I had to tap into retirement funds, but that was my choice).

This is what has worked for me.

If there aren't enough qualified customer service reps to answer questions perhaps your "legit company" should hire personnel and add phone lines to respond to calls.

You did not bother to respond to the consumer who has creditors constantly calling when your "legit company" was hired to handle those problems.

Hello to all!! I am an actual employee of this company. Alot of people are having problems trying to get through via telephone due to the fact that thousnads of clients are calling from the 4 Merged debt settlement law firms that Richard Brennan had affliation with. He has merged all 4 law firms into 1 which is now called The Frederick Law Group.

How do you expect the customer serivice and paralegal department to answer all calls when each client stays on the phone for about 30 mins asking questions, while 30 others have called, while 25 others have left messages, while 100 others cant get through at all or try to leave a message and the mailbox is full. We are trying our best to answer and return all calls.

If you feel as though the communication is causing you to say this agency is a rip off then I am leaving everyone with the emails that are checked on a daily (hourly even minute) basis. Those emails are info@fredericklawgroup.com and legal.issues@fredericklawgroup.com. If you can get through on the phone then kudos, but emails always come through. How about you come to the office if you are so concerned about the legitimacy of this law firm and what they are doing for you.
