Richard Downer of the Dammeron Corporation Bait and Switch Buyer Beware Dammeron Valley, Utah

The person who filed this report failed to include numerous facts.

He failed to mention that he made numerous requests for site improvements, including expanded parking areas, on a very difficult ridge lot, work that required additional blasting and rock construction.  He failed to mention that there were numerous upgrades that he requested and that were thoroughly discussed with him during the construction process - discussions held prior to performing any of the work.  He failed to mention that he was aware from the beginning that the cost of installing a solar grid on his roof was not included in the original or revised budget, but that he insisted that it be installed at the end of the job.  He failed to mention that he requested that his entire driveway be paved with concrete, that the original budget had only allowed for a portion equivalent to an apron in front of the garage to be paved.  

He failed to mention that he and his wife went through and completed a divorce in the middle of the building process.  He failed to mention that he was involved with every decision for making additions or material changes to his project - all prior to any of the work being completed.  He failed to mention that he coerced Richard Downer into loaning him over $40,000 to complete work on his project, claiming that he would pay it back shortly after the job was complete.  He failed to mention that he failed to pay Dammeron Corp the balance owed for the work completed on his project.  He has failed to pay any of these debts.  He failed to mention that much work that was an upgrade to his home was completed through donated labor.   This is a partial list of omissions.  You decide.
