Richard Owens - Zenith Financial Management Group ripoff Winnipeg Manitoba

Hi, well I recieved a check in the amount of $2,996.90 from Zenith Financial Management Group which is an accredited agency to British Random Lotto. Hoping that this was real I called claim agent Richard Owens and asked him whether or not this was real, and of course he said "yes". He proceeded to explain to me that I needed to deposit this check into my account and that once the funds were available to call him back and let him know. He said he would then send me whatever papers I needed for taxes along with a check for the remaining amount of money that I had supposedly "won".

So unfortunately I fell for this scam before researching this "Lotto". I went to my bank and deposited the check into my account (which is a savings account), the bank then told me that they needed to hold the check for 5 business days just as a routine for that amount of money.

Then when I came home I decided to look this whole "lotto" thing up and came across many others' similar stories. I have to admit I feel stupid for falling for such an obvious scam. But like many other people when you see a check that looks so real at a time when the money could really come in handy i couldn't help but believe it.

So here I am wondering what I should do now. If anyone has and type of advice what-so-ever, please share it with me, I would really appreciate it. Thank You!
