Tried his service, after being told it was an all new approach to technical analysis

Turns out same old analysis available for free on the internet

Attempted to cancel after 3 days

His website makes cancelling very difficult and confusing (intentionally) and offers no acknowledgement of your cancellation

I then contacted my CC comp to contest the charge. as his lack of acknowledgment of my cancellation made me uneasy

Because Rick Ackermans Hidden Pivots did not offer a receipt of cancellation they claimed it was never cancelled.

My CC comp could not rule in my favor as I had no proof that I had cancelled

Beware of the service and find the info on the internet for free

Good grief, man!

Where to begin? Let me take your complaints one-by-one:

1. "Same old analysis for free on the internet?"  That would be news to the thousands who have subscribed to my service, many for more than a decade. Some paid as much as $3500/month for customized forecasts geared to professional option traders on the CBOE and PSE. To anyone reading this:  Feel free to ask Rick's Picks subscribers yourself whether they think they are getting good value. Simply sign up for a free two-week trial subscription and drop by the chat room with your questions.

2. "[Rick's Picks] makes canceling very difficult and confusing".   Anyone who takes the free-trial offer linked above can judge for him or herself whether the cancellation process is confusing -- assuming you should decide to cancel.

3. All of your gibberish concerning the cancellation process does not negate the fact that YOUR credit card issuer ruled in my favor. Did they perhaps know something you've failed to mention, or at least make clear?

Regardless, I've asked my webmaster (subscriptions@rickackerman.com)  to give you your money back, since I have ALWAYS operated strictly on the time-honored principle that the customer is always right.
