i'm a victim of Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. On july 26 of 2008 i purchased a 2007 mercedes benz c280 from the dealer. i ask the sales man for a car fax report to check to see if the car never been in a car accident before car fax showed the car never been in a car accident. the sales man him self stated that the car was in a perfect condition hi guaratee it. the car come with warranty on it i felt in love with the car i purchased the car. After couple months i started having problems with the car. I called the dealer back to tell them about my situation the manager stated that i need to take the car to a Mercedes Dealer to let them check it. when i got to mercedes dealer they said that car was involve in a mejor car accident. as matter of fact one of the mercedes dealer was the one who fix the car it cost about $22,618.00 to fix it back and they showed me the invoice to prove it.I was so shock when i find out remember i only have that car for couple months now. I called Rick Hendrick Chevrolet demanding for a refund or to trade the car no body want to returning my call specially the manager. I feel like i been taking advantage off sa a woman. i dont know what to do im still paying for the car almost $500.00 a month. i'm still having problems and i find out the warranty company not gonna cover for it because those problems accured do to the previous accident. Please help me out.

maybe they'll EXPOSE the dealership, just like one of Sonic's Ford dealerships was EXPOSED on TV.

Any dealer who takes a car in should indeed check it out for damage however you mention the carfax report as being clean when you bought the Mercedes [bad choice by the way-many issues with Mercedes] The dealer cannot manipulate the carfax so it WAS clean at the time of your purchase. The dealer can actually go after the dealer or individual who sold them the car if it was not disclosed and you may do the same however keep in mind the dealer truly may not have known about the damage. Instead of jumping to the conclusion that they knew how about we assume they did not and why. Work with the dealer if they did not know and you both can come out ahead and with your reputation in hand. Again damage reporting falls on the seller and again many times the dealer is an innocent victim as well. As far as the guy who said Rick Hendrick has a reputation he is correct....he has a solid reputation in this business and ALWAYS takes care of his employees and clients. Any one who knows anything about the automotive business would jump at the cahnce to work for Rick.

If everything is as you say it is and the other dealer is willing to provide PROOF of collisiuon repair in the past, then you might have great grounds for either a lawsuit or state action. Run it by an attorney who should be willing to give you an initial consultation for free.
Rick Hendricks was involved in a great big Honda scandal some years ago...bribery. So, you see how much honesty and integrity they radiate.
