Company advertises that the oil change includes a new oil filter. After the tech was finished with the job, I approached him and asked him if I could see the filter that he took out of my car. He could not produce it. The manager came out and after explaining the problem, he told the tech to put a new one in there. Upon checking out, I noticed that the charged me $10.63 for a filter. They are not honoring their advertising. It's nothing but a scam.

Or YOU only saw what YOU wanted to see. In ANY "free offer" there are addedems, codices, or just fine print. If YOU did NOT read ALL of that fine print, how can YOU say with ANY accuracy that what they did is wrong? I would suggest you read that fine print. The oil filter may have been free if you purchased X amount of oil. Many times YOU as the consumer make assumptions as to what a deal is. When it comes down to it, THEY are the ones who are fully versed in said deal. If THEY charged YOU for the oil filter then YOU didnt fully qualify for said deal. THAT IS NOT A RIPOFF!!! That is YOU makeing assumptions on half read information. Perhaps instead of doing damage to a companies online reputation, YOU could admit atleast YOUR part in it. YOU DIDNT READ THE ENTIRE OFFER!!! YOU read as far as YOU needed to read to see that the filter was free. YOU did NOTHING beyond that.
