I am sure many people have the similar experience as me , being harassed by this bottom feeder company - Rickenbacker Collection Agency from Morgan Hill, CA.
One day, a person bought my 1980 Ford F150 truck for $750. I signed and release the car when he handed me the money. After that, I filed Transfer & Release of Liability form. I thought that was the end of the story, however, that wasn't it.
A weeks later, I received the letter from the city saying the car I used to own has been tolled. I immediately mail my Transfer & Release of Liability form to show that I no longer held responsible for the vehicle.
A few months later, I received another letter saying the vehicle had been dismantled. Soon after that, Rickenbacker mailed me with the bill of $1783.19.
That was outrageous. I sold my truck for $750, now I have to pay 2 times more. WOW!
From then on, they keep calling my home asking for payments. I feel being harassed, and at the same time, I want to share my experience with everyone who is victimized from this RIPOFF.
