I work a $10.99 job with a rent payment of $550 a month so don't have a lot of money to begin with.......I had a 1975 Ford F150 pickup that was fast going downhill, even more so it was breaking down faster than I could afford to fix it.

I saw the Cheap Car's and Truck sign.......stepped in and was helped by Rick, helpful, informative and said he could do something for me after he looked in the computer.....I was shown a 1989 Ford Bronco II 4 x 4 that appeard to be in good shape....It was stated by Rick that the engine had just undergone major repair and should be a reliable vehicle for me.....I traded my pickup, Rick allowed me $650 for the truck as the down and I then made my first payment on time.....In the process of the deal Rick stated he had a warranty he could sell me that would cover the vehicle 100% in the event it broke down......2 weeks after the gas tank sprang a leak at the top of the tank, thus preventing me from filling it up........I called the warranty company and gave them my contract number and was told they didnt' have it......I called Rick and was told they just needed to fax it.....was told they did....again warranty company had no record of it........I just kept driving it and kept the tank at about half full to prevent gas going everywhere....

on July 4th I made a 100 mile trip and on the way back the vehicle ran funny, then overheated.........I had to pull of the road and let it cool off for about an hour......topped off the cooling system and nursed it home.......I took it to a mechanic who diagnosed that it needed a new engine, mine had 128,000 miles on it as the odometer stated and the engine had not had any major work done on it that he could tell...........again I called the warranty service and was told no record of my existence with them........I have called Rick's back and each time I get a message machine and he has to this day never returned any of my calls.........

the next payment was due on July 22nd and on July 23rd the finance company called and asked where the payment was....I explained that the vehicle was broked down and sitting and the so called warranty was pocketed either by them or the dealer and no intention of paying for it since I would be paying good money for a junk vehicle......they came and picked it up the next day and I haven't received any calls from the finance, warranty or the dealer and it has been over a month.......

Lesson learned, stick to the major dealers and stay away from the mom and pop operations, they could care less what they sell to whom.......thus preying on the working poor to line their pockets.....

I lost a running truck my two payments of $224 and now I can't get another vehicle financed for at least 12 months unless I go chapter 7 bankruptcy to clear my credit which wasn't in the best of shape to begin with.

So you see a sign that says Cheap Cars and Trucks....take the bus and keep rolling...........

Sir please read the report out of Lewiston Idaho on the dealer ship by the same name in Coeur'd'alene, ID That dude ripped us off too. And I'd recommend you take him to court ain't there lemon laws in Arizona as well? Sounds to me like Congress needs to step up and make it illegal to sale a vehicle knowingly that runs like crap. The guy flat out lied to you right there at the sales counter. Oh ya it's got a rebuilt engine. Ya right say anything and sugar coat it to get the customer's money and wait till he or she drives off with a piece of crap after signing some as is waiver. Sheesh these scam artist need to be shut down or shot. Personal opinion there but my God what the heck is up when we can't get a decent used car for under 3 grand without it crapping out on us not even a month after buying it. CRAP ya know. Seriously tho check your local laws and take em to court.
