An illegal website (operaalacarteusa.com) has been set up which is intentionally misrepresenting itself. The website claims to be on behalf of "Opera A LA Carte Association" and contains a Sherman Oaks, Caifornia address. However, the real company is Opera a la Carte Association, which is an established, long-time opera company and 501(c)(3) nonprofit California corporation whose place of business is Pasadena, CA and whose correct and only website name is operaalcarte.org.
In addition, someone named "Ricky Stutts" is placing fraudulent orders for goods and services over the phone and online on behalf of Opera A La Carte Association. Some of these goods have been delivered to the Sherman Oaks address listed on the illegal website. The appropriate legal authorities have been notified of this fraud.
