Home Depot touted Ridgid Tool Company's Lifetime Service Agreement, so I bought Ridgid's Drill and Impact Driver combination pack (Model R9601).

The registration process for obtaining the Lifetime Service Agreement has been an absolute nightmare.

Be prepared to spend hours (seriously) filling out their paperwork and mailing required documentation.

Then, be prepared to spend hours (again, seriously) when they send you via an automated email telling you that you have to do it all over again, without telling you why.  All they told me is that they "encountered a problem".

To add insult to injury, they told me to re-send the original documents that I already sent (which, of course, is impossible) and to send them via certified mail. 

I saved copies of everything, but this registration process is getting very costly.
