On 25 Feb I ordered rims from this company through a car magazine. I ordered them this way in the past and never had an issue, so I didn't think twice about doing it again. However, the drama I've been going through trying to get my product or receive a refund is not worth the $400 I thought I'd be saving by ordering through them instead of locally.


I was told initially that the rim I wanted wasn't available so they were going to give me a similiar rim, which was fine. I called a week after placing my order and was told they were still in paint. I called again the second week of March and was told they should be shipped out that wed 10 March. Called back on wednesday, was told they were shipped out, but that the shipping department was closed and to call back for my shipping number. Called back that Friday, 12 March and was told they had just been shipped out, but I had to talk to the guy that did my order to get my tracking number.


Since then, I have been calling almost daily and getting the run around about the status of my order. I've been told no one can tell anything about my order except the person I originally talked to, whom, now that I've got an issue, is never available. When I asked for the manager or owner, I was told they do not give out that information but they'd have them give me a call. Three weeks later I'm still waiting on my call. I waited 10 days to call again in an attempt to see if my wheels would show up. They did not, so I started calling again, only to get the same "Mike's in shipping, call back in an hour". I call back, and he's still in shipping, or gone home for the day.


I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am headed to my legal office in the morning to start my small claims court paperwork (I'm in the military). It's so frustrating not to have any other avenue or person to talk to to get this resolved, the people that answer the phone have started hanging up on me or keeping me on hold for 15 minutes at a time in an effort to not have to deal with me. I had friends waiting to see what my wheels would look like so they can order as well, needless to say I told them FORGET this place, order locally, it's not worth the hassle.

Used the money I thought I'd save here to hire a lawyer

As for the person stating you've used them for your rims and never had an issue; lucky you! I have not been as fortunate, as of today 17 May I STILL have not received my refund. Still getting the same run around, but now it's my check must have been lost in the mail. My lawyer suggested sending them a letter stating my intentions to sue, which I did, to no avail, still no check. Papers are getting filed tomorrow. It's a shame it had to come to this, but I refuse to stand and let this company keep $1300 of my hard earned money.

my name is david and i have ordered 3 sets of rims from rims for less in glendale. every time i have ordered i have received my shipment on time. i have never experienced any sort of problem with these guys. i have enjoyed working with them. they also have great prices, so they are the only people i would give my money to because i trust them very much.

Still getting the Run Around!!

As of today, 26 April, I STILL have not received my refund! I thought I was making progress when I finally got in touch with someone who said they'd cancel my order and that i should be receivng a full refund for all my trouble. Ed stated to expect the refund in around 4-5 business days. I waited two weeks....still no check in the mail. Called and inquired, was told that for some reason the finance office never sent the check, so I should get it in another 4-5 days....shocker...8 days later, still no check. So, called AGAIN, and asked to speak to Ed, was told to call back in 2 hours, called back in two hours was told he's still not available (sound familiar, right?). Called later on (all three calls on 26 April) and asked for the manager, Tony got on the phone. Tony seemed shocked that I was expecting a full refund! He asked me to hold on, and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I finally hung up and immediately called right back...guess who went home for the day? Tony!! The guy answering the phone tells me my order indeed had been canceled and I should expect my refund this weekend...been expecting it for the last 3 weekends!

Already went to my lawyer, he's all about suing, Monday I will be filing papers. I've been pretty patient, the military has taught me the hurry up and wait game quite well, but this is beyond ridiculous! Never again will I go through this company, and i have advised anyone that asks me from ordering from any ad in the magazines, worked great for me years ago, this time is enough to make me postal.
