This site seemed like an authentic ringtone site (if there is such a thing) at first glance. But I have always been weary of buying things online, as everyone should be. But I thought I would take a chance because it was something I really wanted. I should probably be punching myself right now for being so stupid.
I guess I should explain what happened. I looked thru all the policies they had listed on their website and didn't find anything to be suspicious about. After my investigation I decided that everything looked ok. So, I went for the 6 month unlimited download subscription for $19.99. That's when it started going downhill. I received an automatic email with my login information (password). I went to login and a very vague message came up that implied that my subscription did not go thru. I checked my bank account online and found that the $19.99 was missing but was not on my history as it sometimes does if a charge hasn't been processed. So, I thought I would wait for a couple days to see what it would do. It would either go though and I could log into my account or they would just reverse the charge.
A couple days later I found that the $19.99 was no longer missing out of my bank account.
Then I got another automatic email saying something about technical problems. I thought if this were a scam they wouldn't have reversed my charge. So, I tried it again and finally got to login. I started downloading ringtones. Unfortunately they would not send to my phone. I checked before to make sure that my phone was capable of the certain ringtones. I have Internet service on it and everything. They had another choice to go download it directly from my phone. I tried that and it didn't work. I emailed their technical service regarding my problems and only got another automated email saying my question will be answered in a couple of days. Never happened.
I checked my bank account and found two charges of $19.99. This is when I got fed up.
Finally after waiting a couple weeks for some answers I emailed their legal department saying I wanted a refund of both the charges or I was going to take actions. I still haven't heard from them.
