Ripe Bistro Jeff Holleran It's all true, poor sanitation, scam menu and rips off employees' pay St. Augustine Florida

 Please know that everything all of the former employees are saying regarding Ripe and Jeff Holleran's treatment of his employees is completely true. At the end of each pay period while at Ripe, the paychecks were ALWAYS incorrect, which given the electronic timekeeping discrepancies was a mystery.  Mr. Holleran is notorious for not only shorting employees for hours on each check - he also withholds his server's tips and then shorts them when he runs the tip money through his business. When confronted regarding discrepancies in pay, Mr. Holleran will often become indignent and make statements regarding the working class and their money grubbing.

Further, Mr. Holleran is consistently dishonest regarding the sources where his food is procured. Often organic and locally sourced are neither.  Before considering either patronizing this establishment or working for one of Mr. Holleran's restaurants (Stoogies or Ripe), please do check the Better Business Bureau, the review sites (yelp, Trip Advisor, etc.) and also, read the remainder of this thread because the claims made are true.

Unfortunately, Mr. Holleran is petty, deceitful, unprofessional, juvenile and his behavior is dysfunctional at best. He has no concept of how to communicate with others. His egomania seems to stand in the way of his treating anyone he encounters properly.
