Riverbend Pool Company is good at Selling pools and taking your money, but not quick to fix their mistakes. I reported over 6 weeks ago about a leak in the pipes under the deck. It took over 3 weeks for them to start the work. Currently, my pool is turning green because I can't turn the pumps on.

When they finally showed up and opened up the deck, they discovered a very strong odor coming up from under the deck. Riverbend own worker called the fire department because the odor was so bad. Riverbend learned there was a chemical under the deck that was melting the PVC pipes running to the pool. A Riverbend manager, a leak detection supervisor, and a sub-contracted Titan Concrete, all came out and said they had no idea what it was. I called the city and someone came out that day and did a chemical test. They found an abundant amount of xylene and methylbenzene in the water under the ground. Those two chemicals are most likely derived from the chemical used to strip the sealant from the deck (Klean-strip Color Change Stripper). It is going on 7+ weeks, and my pool still looks like a swamp all because of Riverbend and their sub-contractor.

In the meantime my wife and I are the ones suffering, this happened in August in Texas when a pool is most useful. When we were choosing a pool company one thing I liked about Riverbend is they told me they only use all in house people, no sub-contractors (That was a Lie). I have had this pool for less than two years, and It has been the biggest mistake going with Riverbend/Sandler Pools.

Signed,
Very unhappy and dissatisfied Customers!!!!

Many of the points made in the report are true but jaded. There have been a couple of facts left out. This issue was taken care of including the removal and replacement of the contaminated soil, pipes, and deck. Communication with the individual who filed the report was difficult at best due to his unusual work schedule. At no point during the process of this repair was a lack of effort to update the customer on what was happening.

Riverbend Sandler Pools believe in the products we produce and took care of this issue as deemed necessary.
