I am an IT professional and find a job or contract usually does not take me long, but with the job markets the way they are now finding a position was becoming a lot harder.
I then received an email from a position I applied for from the Internet. I responded to the position that seemed to be on offer, only to find that it was only a recruitment agency, nothing strange in that you say, except they wanted me to pay them up to $5000 for them to place me in a fulltime job, with no guarantee of ever being placed.
I know that the economy is hard and jobs are scarce, but it can't be fair for people to shell out large sums of money just in a promise of find a job.
I have also done an Internet search on RMC International, and to my shock there are others like me, New to Denver who have fallen into the same trap
If this retrospective how the Denver job market and employment agencies operate in Colorado, It makes me wonder why Denver is such a wonderful place to live.
I have worked with recruitment companies in the past and those that charge a fee usually ask for it after they have placed you and its varies from $100 to $200 not any where near the $5000 asked for by RMC International and never before being employed, how can this be legal?

My advisor, Sue, has been very fair and to the point about my career search. Sue asked me to attend a career workshop about marketing myself. I'm in marketing, so I thought why in the world would I need to attend a class on this, I do it every day. I found out that marketing me is different than any other product or service I have ever marketed. The content was great and brought up things that I would never have thought about had I not gone. After the class I found out that Sue had written the content for it. (Great Class Well worth the time) Sue is very easy to talk to, so working through issues with career development has been very refreshing and upbeat. I would recommend Sue and RMC International to anyone who needs a no non sense approach to their personal career development. Top qualities: Personable , Expert , High Integrity.

You surely didn't do your research on our firm. We are a career marketing firm not a recruiting firm. We don't find jobs for people, we help them market themselves thru our program which leads to a career position. We have helped thousands and continue to provide a professional service in the Denver area. We do not sell our program over the phone and offer jobs for $5000 dollars. Recruiters charge companies and do not charge individuals $100 to $200 dollars. Comparing that to what you think we charge is ridiculous.
