Please note that Road Armor has two locations - their internet sales and home offices are based in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area, while the manufacturing plant is located in Olympia, Washington. I was unable to locate a mailing address for their Texas facility.

I placed an order with Road Armor for a winch bumper for my truck on 10/26/2007, paying $1500 + for the product, and $420 for shipping, and was given an expected ship date of 11/23/2007.

As of December 2007 I had not received any update about the shipping of the bumper or when I could expect it, and began to contact them about the bumper on 12/07/2007. I finally got a reply on 01/03/2008, with my customer service rep citing that his computer had crashed. I was assured that the bumper would be finished as soon as possible, and after some prodding from me, they refunded the cost of the shipping since the order was by then 6 weeks overdue.

At the end of January, I still did not have an updated ship date. I contacted them and told them I needed the bumper here by 02/16/2008 so I could have my truck ready for a trail ride the weekend of 02/23/2008. I was assured that the bumper would definitely be here by then.

As of 02/14/2008, I still did not have a shipping date. In desperation I found the owner's own page on MySpace and contacted him via MySpace, and informed him of my dilemma. He did not respond to my problem either by email nor by phone call. I am given the impression that the owner does not care how his company is performing.

The weekend of 02/23/2008 came and went with no update, and no trail ride either. I have contacted my customer service representative and not gotten any further updates. I have left a message for another service rep and not gotten any return call. I have sent 2 emails over the past 11 days and not had any response.

I have found other people on the internet who have advised that they have had, or are having, the exact same problem with Road Armor. It appears that they are not interested in serving their current customers since I noticed over the weekend of 03/02/2008 that they are now guaranteeing shipping of an unpainted bumper within one week of placing the order. Meanwhile, myself and many others like me have been waiting for months for an expected item to arrive.

I want them to advertise honestly on their site, that they are working months and months behind schedule, and get those of us who have already purchased a product to get on the ball, and get those orders taken care of. Now. Not next week. Not next month. Now.
