Roadside towing Illegally parked???? Durham North carolina

  Yes i do understamd the concepts of lines! But i also undestand the concept of ripping someone off. Yes i was in my home for more than 20 min.. i had enough time to take my grocries in.. put them away, change clothes, and then start dinner...since you wanna replay my events!! I do not live in a apartment complex, nor are there any signs posted on my street. Which is off 2 side streets! About parking!!. In the state of NC u have to send written notice the first time it happen which i NEVER recieved!. Had i seen this letter i would have parked 3 inches to the left.To avoid all this!! There are are No lines in my parking lot. But how would u know that. I just find it crazy to have to pay 305 for nonsense and ripping people off. So next time you want to critize the whole situation...know what your talking about first! And maybe you need to get a hobby instead of finding time to write a extremely LONG rebuttal!!! I was longer than my complaint!

We live in a world of lines. Lines to shop, lines to pay, lines to stay between when driving. I fail to see HOW you can be so incenced since YOU live in that world as well. If YOU were parked over the line then YOU were parked illegaly according the paperwork YOU agreed to. OBVIOUSLY this is NOT your personal property if your vehicle can be towed out of your driveway. Which means that at some point YOU were presented with this information and asked to sign. Did YOU read it?? No, more then likely not. MUCH easier to go on the web and tell us all how unfair it is. Get used to it!!!! THIS is the world we live in. breaking the law "a little" is STILL breaking the law!!!! I fail to see how you cannot see this. Instead of playing the victim accept that YOU made a mistake and move on!!!The only ripoff here is what YOU have done. The tow company IS INFORMED by someone in a position of power WHERE YOU LIVE!!!! The tow company HAD to get permission to tow from the property. The tow company is just doing has they are HIRED to do. YOU parking is the REAL issue NOT the being towed for it. YOU seem to think its ok to break the laws "a little". Obviously YOU did NOT just back in and all of a sudden YOUR vehicle is being towed. YOU were inside for atleast an hour. Simple logic tells us this. 5-10 to move your bags. 10-20 to get your stuff together after a long day, maybe longer. more then likely 30-45 mins. Right there YOU have been parked OVER THE LINE and ON THE GRASS for far longer then YOU want to admit to. So YOU get towed. YOU need to change YOUR world view. In YOUR world view YOU are the only IMPORTANT person. REALITY is that YOU are insignificant to the whole and the rest of the world wont even stir if YOU pass. Other people are AS important as YOU seem to think YOU are. SOMEONE has to PAY for the damages YOU do.In this instance its atleast a sheet of sod, someone to put it in, someone to maintain it until it grows in. But ppl like YOU dont SEE this. To YOU its a horrible thing to be made accountable for YOUR actions. DEAL WITH IT!!! Its called being a good citizen. Be it in America or any other country YOU are expected to follow the LAWS!!!! If YOU dont like the rule of Law then go to antactica. NOTHING out there but snow,ice, and penguins. All of which will give a d**n about YOUR self entitlment issues as they would a snowflake. YOU are an adult, start acting like one.
