Roanoke Group Insurance Machinery was damaged in shipping, insurance company does not want to pay. Schaumburg Illinois

On Jule 26 Pilot Freight picked up a optical machine which was placed ina box with packing all around and then securely placed on a pallet using two racheting straps which were securely tightened. the machine was shipped to Maryland from Texas. When the buyer received the machine was not on a pallet and only had one very loose strap and only three peices of paching material around machine.

When the reciver tried to connect machine to power up there were only sparks coming from machine and would not power up. The machine had been in full operation when shipped. Neither Roanoke insurance wants to pay fir damages or Pilot Freight. I paid for the insurance to be sure machine arrived safely. It did not. Both companies refuse to pay for damages. Do not ship with Pilot Freight or insure with Roanoke group insurance. I am out the sale of the equipment and also the loss of the machine.
