Roas Hybrid Repair & Towing Fabian Hybrid Repair Scam Hybrid Battery Repair Service - Beware!!! San Diego, Los Angeles California

I was experiencing hybrid battery issues with my 2008 Prius. I called Fabian at Roas Hybrid Repair. He sent a tow truck to pick it up. Once he indicated the repairs were complete, I was advised he would be sending his tow truck driver (driving my Prius) back to my home.  I was to give the driver a ride back to their business.  I made payment (had to be cash, as he apparently does not charge sales tax on the batteries he sells).  

When my car arrived, I learned there was a change of plans. The driver did not need a ride back to the business after all.  His wife had followed him and would take him back.

Once they departed, I decided to take my car (with its new battery) for a spin around the block.  It made it about one-quarter mile. I then realized why the two truck driver did not want to risk riding in this car for an additional 15 miles.

I called the tow truck driver immediately, as he would still be in my neighborhood. He told me Fabian would want it towed back for repairs.  The only problem is Fabian and the tow truck driver don't return calls or texts any longer. On one of Fabians numbers the person answering indicates he has no idea who Fabian is or is unaware of any hybrid repair business. He says he just got this phone number the day before I called him.  That was the number I originally scheduled the pickup of my Prius with.

I finally gave up calling and texting and had my car towed to another hybrid battery repair business.  He looked at it and said he had repaired another vehicle that had been "worked on" by Fabian at Roas Hybrid Repair. He could tell because they did the exact same things wrong: The hybrid battery was put in upside down, it was missing several bolts/clamps, and several of the cells were dead.

I have a handwritten receipt for my repairs from Roas Hybrid Repair, with what appears to be a fake address, stating I have a two-year warranty on this battery. Kind of hard to get warranty work done when the person issuing the warranty pretends his phone number is not his phone number.
