Where do I start? I used to work with Rob Roy at Better Trades where he quickly ran the company into the ground after he took over when the founder's wife got the company after their nasty divorce. Everything he did lost money in fact he would lose money on his crazy ideas and off the wall advertising ideas, then actually spend more when they didn't produce losing even more money!

His lack of experience was so obvious and hard to watch that people were quitting left and right to get away from the train wreck he was running. A disturbing thing about Rob Roy is that he cannot trade. We all had to share our statements after the SEC sued the company and his statements showed profits of only $1000 for an entire year.

He has this weird giant ego and he would start every seminar loudly announcing his title thinking people would be impressed with his made up title. You would always hear the crowd on their way out saying he sounded like a really bad time share salesman. He lied at every live event we put on talking about all the fancy cars and vacations he took because of his trading profits but we all knew the truth.

He ran or still runs the eminithinktank.com, an after hours trading room. Once or twice a week he tells his subscribers to buy & sell Dow or Nasdaq futures for tiny profits of $10 or $20 so he can call them winners and he charges around $700 quarterly for a room that half the time he can't bother to show up for because he's still out pitching some get rich quick crap for someone else or he couldn't be bothered.

Rob Roy once told me his subscribers will do anything he says because they're all a bunch of sheep. Last I heard he hooked up with the Rich Dad Poor Dad people for some mid level on the road job. Before that Rob Roy did a short stint for a guy in Vegas that actually has a really good system, until he got smart after Rob Roy hired his old Better Trades friends only to lose a bunch of his money when Rob couldn't deliver. No surprise there.

I'm writing because enough is enough and I stopped any kind of employment from these seminar gurus a while ago because they do nothing but steal people's money with false hope and Rob keeps doing it with no conscience. Yes, you can call me a hypocrite because at some level I am but I feel it's time to set the record straight about this guy and people like him.

The sad thing about Rob Roy is that he professes to be an honest religious guy but he'll try and talk you out of your money every chance he gets and could care less if it hurts your family's finances. Be smart and stay away from anything Rob Roy is involved with because I guarantee it's not in your best interest only his.
