In 1996-1998 Robbie Bray was a one-man show calling himself "Ultimate Image". Originally a car salesman from Los Angeles, he later abandoned his wife and three kids in (last known to live in Colorado) and married his girlfriend after they had conceived their second child. They have since divorced.
He was in Sacramento, CA when I met him through the aforementioned girlfriend, and stupid me, I saw a man who knew how to make money and went to work marketing his program to auto dealers, teaching their salesmen how to increase sales and best use the telephone. In all fairness, his program techniques aren't bad, even though none of them are original ideas.
However, after I landed a juicy contract with President Craig McLaughlin of McLaughlin Ford Mercury in Auburn, CA (now Maita Ford Mercury), I recieved $3,000 of my commission, with the promise of the other 50% when the contract was complete. Bray sabotaged the account by failing to deliver.
Robbie Bray got a little money, went chasing new accounts and romancing his girlfriend (one kid born already), visiting his estranged wife and kids, buying expensive wine and dinners, and spread himself too thin to deliver as promised. Consequently he was thrown off the job. I don't know if McLaughlin ever sued him. I suspect the contract was so vaguely written as to make that very difficult.
My last web search for Bray found him at Champion Dodge in Greeley, CO. It's likely the dealership was duped by him and he's since moved on. I will gladly retract this complaint if Robbie Bray pays me the $3,000 he owes me by the end of 2004 (and I'll even waive interest!)

This is the official response from the Ultimate Image Team and Legal Department regarding the above article. Ultimate Image is a Christian based company that strives to be governed by the highest ethical and moral standards, and expects its employees to follow the like Biblical principles and guidelines of the company. Every employee is therefore held accountable to serve the company, and its client base, in an honest and trustworthy way. The author of this critical review was sadly disgruntled over certain matters of financial compensation; and instead of working out his differences in a respectful way, he went about to maliciously attack the company, including Robbie Bray the principle and owner. The contractor was in fact terminated from his job and position for not upholding the employee agreement and the ethical standards of the company. Again, it should be mentioned that this individual was not an employee. And therefore we firmly respond by saying that, though our company is not without its faults and setbacks, we at Ultimate Image strive to do our best to faithfully serve our clients in Christian love for their quality service and productivity, and for the greater glory of God. My posting about Robbie Bray and Ultimate Image, Inc., on August 7, 2004, was not true. I was jealous, angry and mean spirited when I created the false posting. I held a grudge and meant to harm Robbie Bray and Ultimate Image, Inc. I retract my entrie posting and request that it be removed.

Mr. Bray phoned me 15 August 2005 to let me know that he and his attorney would appreciate my withdrawal of my earlier report. So withdrawn. All is forgiven, Robbie. Your account is paid in full. May God grant you all the blessings you so richly deserve.
