My company sent used car parts to Robert Annenberg, who was using a new jersey Cell phone number, he was in florida though where he hides out from authorities.  Annenberg using the business name First Wall Street Group claimed one part of the three was broken in transit, he refused to file a damage claim with the carrier.  Then using comical but expected profane langauge, and threats of hes a "big tough guy from joisey" he stopped payment on me via paypal, then he used paypal to scam me by returning less than the number of items we sent him.  We later found out he is a wanted scammer for real estate scams in Florida. Beware of Robert Annenberg.

Complete waste of time

For starters, this ripoff report is a joke. Anyone can post anything on anybody for any reason whether it’s true or false. I’m a real estate developer. I deal with millions of dollars in property, bank loans, and construction. So anyone that would take the time to put someone on ripoff report, it should be something substantial. Because this rebuttal alone has taken at least an hour of my time which is one of the reasons I let it sit on there for two or three years and never did anything about it. Now that I have the time, I’m having my secretary answer these rebuttals. This complaint against me is kind of comical to a legitimate business person like me. This guy runs a tiny rinky dink business out of his house. I believe we got him on eBay or the internet and its sad that not only did he rip me off as I was the customer, but yet there’s a place where frauds like ______ can even post this nonsense even exist. So let me tell you how this transaction went down so that if anyone else out there wants to buy a part for a vintage car and it arrives broken, maybe you won’t be a victim twice, like I was.

  1. My part arrived broken, that’s a fact. I wouldn’t have made it up. I buy and sell cars as a hobby. I’m constantly buying parts all over the internet for cars that I have. I’ve never not paid anyone for services rendered or products received. Go ahead and search the internet. If I’m buying and selling cars like I claim to be doing, why wouldn’t there be numerous complaints on me ordering parts and not paying? Because we pay for everything we buy like any normal honest person. This guy for some reason and we do not know why, got offended when I told him his part was broken and got way out of line and basically did not want to give us a refund. It’s as simple as that. Instead he starts coming up with all this nonsense, all we wanted was a refund, just like anyone else would want if they ordered something broken from a legitimate establishment. We are going to open up our own fraud complaint against this person and hopefully save someone else from getting ripped off like we did. He rambled in his report that I had a New Jersey number. I didn’t know that was not allowed or a cause for suspicions that I had a New Jersey number? It’s only been the same number I’ve had for 10 years registered in my name and used in my business on a daily basis! The bottom line is there’s other places to buy parts for old porches. Stay away from this guy. He will sell you something broken and defective. He’s dishonest and he’s a crook. Plain and simple. Not much more I can say. I guess if you’re an intelligent person, you do the math. Of course I charged back my credit card because he’s a fraud! I probably charge back my credit card once or twice a year and make thousands of normal transactions. And the few charge backs I’ve had (3, maybe once year) it’s always for the same reason, someone trying to rip me off.

Robert Annenberg Part II

I just wanted to add that Robert has now filed a refund with PayPal and claimed he never received his service.  This, of course is a lie since I have evidence that the site files were all emailed to him.  He also changed the nameservers for the domains so I can no longer access the front facing site in order to help him even if I wanted to.  What a scammer!

Robert Annenberg hired me to create a landing page.  I told him how much it would be and he accepted this price.  During the course of my service, Robert became very difficult to deal with but because he agreed to pay me my hourly rate for additional service, I continued to work for him.

After submitting one of my bills, Robert called me yelling and explained that he would not pay the amount he owes me.  We finally agreed to disagree and amicably part ways.  I told him that I would email his site information and maintain his site on my server until he gets the site up and running on his server.

I received a text message from Robert a week later asking how much I would charge him to put the site up on his server.  I texted him the amount but I also requested half of the previous bill for which he has not paid me.  I then received some abnormal text messages coupled with profanity and a phone call with additional profanity.

I called him back trying to work things out but he just hung up on me.  He is a scammer.
