Glad to hear he will eventually have to pay for what he has done to us, I didnt realize that there were so many families like mine involved. And I will contact our DA's office and see what they say. I got your message from the other posting on Dave and left you a message also. Our court hearing was postponed today, but they will be rescheduling. The Grand Jury returned a true bill on our complaint and we are going forward to put this guy in jail.

From what I understand, he must stand before the judge once a month until we go to trial. There are 6 families and companies that have joined forces to put this guy behind bars.

I encourage you also to speak with the district attorney in your town and get the justice you deserve. We were lucky to find him. The marshalls went to Ohio to extridite him to Tennessee. He was working at an Auto Zone in or near Canal Fulton, Ohio. I am not sure if he still resides there, as I have had no contact with him since I called the sherriffs dept to file a report for fraud and forgery.

A lawyer told me his phone number still works and he answers it. I notice him online on Yahoo messenger from time to time. His email address is xx. Thats his messenger ID also.

I am sorry to hear that the Rowe's have swindled more people out of their hard earned money but needless to say I am not surprised by it at all. I agree, you must be very careful when doing real estate transactions. Go slow...THINK....have an attorney review any contracts, protect yourself and always give yourself a legal way out. Make sure you get the title to a property and make sure it is free and clear of any liens.

They may do time but you'll still be out the money and property. I have a lawyer in my family and I hear stories like this involving real estate all the time. Especially with land contracts where a property is sold multiple times and then an early seller defaults and sends the domino chain of transactions tumbling. Other times a property is resold without a clear title since the owner didn't foreclose properly from his first buyer who suddenly emerges claiming legal ownership still. My advice, use a mortgage with a clear title search and title insurance.

The latest news on Dave and Mary Rowe is that they now reside in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Dave was extradited to Tennessee to face forgery charges and News Channel 4 did an expose on him when a victim feared the police were going to let this whole thing go down the drain. It's estimated that Mr. Rowe scammed in the neighborhood of $500,000 from the fine people of Maury County and surrounding areas. There have been estimates by the authorities that Dave and Mary may have scammed as much as $3 million from their victims. I encourage you to contact Officer Terry Dial at the Maury County Police Dept. (931) 388-5151 if you have been a victim of the Rowes scam. There is more news coming but lets all pray we can put this parasite behind bars.

Just wanted to report that at this point in time I do not know where the Rowe's are. I do not believe that they are still local though. I think that he is in another county of TN and I think that she is in West VA but I am not really sure. As far as I know she is not still practicing real estate, and I know that he is no longer affiliated with Bi-Lo grocery stores.

If Mary Rowe is a licensed broker than I would file a complaint with your state licensing board that regulates real estate licenses. They probably have a website where you can file a complaint on line. She would then be investigated. She should not be allowed to practice real estate if she is that dishonest. I know you say they will get their just cause but what if these con artists move to another state? That is good for you but could be bad for some other people. As a licensed real estate agent in FL I am appalled by her actions. She gives the rest of us a bad name.

Well because these people are not worth the skin they are in and certainly not worth anyone going to jail or prison. They will get theirs eventually at some point in time they will screw over the wrong person who will not be as sensible as we are. Just knowing that they look over their shoulder everytime they are not in the comfort of their rent to own home is somewhat satisfying. The Rowe's have made many enemies even some that they are not aware of, somewhat of wolves in sheeps clothing.

Why not go after them? Start cutting off parts of their body one by one until they pay up!

The word in the neighborhood is now that Dave Rowe the assistant manager of Bi-Lo on 58 highway has lost his job. I can only imagine why, do you think he might of got caught with his hand in the till? After stealing the $30,000 from us and the other people he had real estate deals with, and filing bankruptcy you would think he wouldnt have to many money problems.

The Rowe's have moved not very far away but farther than they were. They have moved to a rent to own property on Ooltewah-Georgetown Road. I hope our telling of everyone in our neighborhood of what they done to us if what caused them to vacate our area. They should be ashamed of themselves.
