The only thing the scammed consumer receives for answering an ad for home stuffers and sending in a $25.00 money order and 5 stamps is more instructions to send $5.00 cash and a self-adressed stamped envelope for training and orientation to a different address (Box 139 7667. Sample Rd. Coral Springs, Fl. 33065.)

After I foolishly sent the cash I was instructed to send back pages 1-4 which explained how this "legitimate company" wants you to replicate their scam and send them half of the $25.00 "refundable" deposits from your victims. This was sent to be sent to J.F. Abrams T&O Box 109, 8255 W. Sunrise Blvd. Plantation, Fl. 33322.

The home stuffers would receive pay and bonuses depending on how many suckers we caught in a specific time frame. Unfortunately, I didn't start having any doubts until after I got a PO box as instructed.

I was to then place an ad similar to the one I answered in as many publications at my expense. However, I came across this web site while trying to find a good place to advertise and a sample ad. I misplaced the copy of the one I answered but have copies of everything else.

I feel totally used for trying to supplement my hardworking husband and my family. I have multiple sclerosis which makes it difficult for me to work a normal job. I get cheated for trying to help.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

A Chicagoland area Post Office Employee called this morning.

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 20, 2003

It was a complete surprise to hear from them. We were discussing this Pyramid, among other things. Unfortunately I don't have good news, but still wanted to pass the information along.

They said that with a pyramid of this nature, too many are hooked in Nationwide, and they are unable to monitor the post office boxes of all the participants. What they respond to are the cases where larger amounts of money are taken, and there are not as many involved to the extent of this pyramid. They are not saying they refuse to work on it, but it won't happen anytime soon.

I have some ideas that will be discussed with the Postal Inspectors, but right now, the $25-$50 dollar rip offs are not in their immediate cases to work on. Maybe we can change that by networking between each other.

I haven't given up. Just need more time to find out what else I can do, within the confines of the law.

I told the Postal Worker, we don't need "How to" tips in avoiding Pyramid Schemes. We need assistance in the aftermath, when it has already happened. She suggested contacting your Attorney General and your State Consumer Affairs Division.

There was a lot discussed, and I encourage you to call your Attorney General, while I continue to look into this further.

Hope your doing okay.

They gave me this Complaint Hotline: 1-800-372-8347

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 12, 2003

They gave me this toll free hotline. I tried to call too late in the day and the line was busy. I'm trying again tomorrow, now you can try too. That number again: 1-800-372-8347 This is for Central Time between 8:00Am to 6:30PM, Mon.-Fri.

I've already filled out my online complaint form, at www.usps.com, so they can't say I didn't follow standard procedure. I hope that you have by now.

Like the EDitor says, "Don't let them get away with it"

If I have anything else, I'll definatly update everyone on the situation.

Hope this helps.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

AUTHOR: Jacqueline - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 11, 2003

I too have a medical condition, mine is a blood disorder closer to Lupus, but rare enough that it's not worth going into details. I just wanted a little extra money.

I am recommending that you file a report with the U.S. Postal Inspectors (www.usps.com), even though currently resolution is not a possibility. I think we are all going to have to ban together and find a way as consumers to stop this scam.

Tomorrow I should be receiving some kind of informtion from the U.S. Postal Inspectors, because I have since sent them two emails, with no reply, and of coarse filled out a claim form. I also got a letter in the mail from them, stating that they would contact me, if they needed any information. It wasn't any more than two sentences, several months after filing my claim.

Well, I got tired of waiting for them, and emailed again, like I said according to the email I got today, they will be in touch tomorrow, Wednesday.

Any information they give me will be posted here immediately.

For what it is worth, try to get a refund if you can, for me it didn't matter. Volunteering here is more productive than the $25 (plus) they conned out of me.

Share this Report with them, if you can, or tell them exactly what you stated here. They should know by now who the primary targets are of these con artists.

Again, I'll be back with more information.

God bless.
