I bought a 2007 GLI from them a little over a year ago and in all honesty I loved it until recently. The dealership themselves, well lets just say thats another story. They are very helpful until you actually purchase a car from them that is.
My car has 24000 miles on it and as of now my clutch is out, which they are saying is my fault and its going to cost almost 2,000 bucks to fix. On top of that my AC has been out for over a month cause they never ever have the time to fix it on the weekends, because like most of you I have a M-F job!!! My battery light illuminates when I leave anything plugged in and the car is not on, and I am talking like even if its for 5 minutes... Its been taken in multiple times for that and they can never seem to duplicate the problem.
My navi screen is pitch black if the car gets cold, my tire pressure monitoring system is FUBAR. What it basically boils down to is I was told time and time again not to buy VW and I didn't listen, I will never be that stupid again. The dealership sold me a lemon and is really not concerned in the least about it.
I am military and I would have never expected to be taken advantage of for that, but I was wrong. I only have one thing to say and that is DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE OR THE ABSOLUTE s**t THEY SELL!!!

I would encourage you to contact the service manager at Larson VW. He has supported dozens of customers over the years not only work thru lemon issues...but even supported them thru challenges with the manufacturer. Let's face it, lemons happen or there wouldn't be a law to protect all parties involved. As far as your complaint about weekend work, there is a big gap in technical support from the manufacturers on weekend and hence many types of warranty repairs cannot be performed other than weekdays. Please take the time to contact this manager and I assure you that whatever can be done, will be done.
I am the service manager at Larson's...please feel free to contact me mon-fri from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The only times we've ever let a customer down is if they can't or won't work thru it with us.
